Systems audits
A systems audit is a process and document control review. Before you buy another platform or rewrite another procedure, we find where the work slows down, gets typed in twice or loses track of who approved what. The audit is 3 days of our time, for a fixed £1,950.

What the audit looks at
A spreadsheet may look like the problem, but the cause is often repeated entry, missing source information, a process no system reflects or nobody being sure who updates it.
We watch the work, talk to the people doing it and trace how information moves. That tells us whether a quick fix will hold or just move the problem somewhere else.
- 01 Hand-offs between estimating, site and the office
- 02 Where documents live and who approves them
- 03 Data held twice in different platforms
- 04 Who supports each system day to day
- 05 Gaps in skills with the tools people already have
Improve, configure, connect, build or leave alone
Not every awkward process needs bespoke software. Sometimes the right answer is a clearer template, a better SharePoint structure or a change in who is responsible. We rank changes by consequence, effort and dependency, so the first 90 days are work you can start on Monday.
How the 3 days are spent
01
Interviews
About half a day of interviews with your key staff, on site or by call.
02
Document and system review
About a day and a half reviewing your documents, systems and handovers to see where information stalls or gets typed in twice.
03
Plan and walkthrough
About a day writing the ranked 90-day plan, then a one-hour walkthrough of the plan with you.
What you receive
Ranked 90-day plan
The changes we recommend, in order. Each one says why it matters, the effort, what it depends on, when in the 90 days it falls and who leads it.
Current-state workflow
How work, tools and information move today, and where they stall.
One-hour walkthrough
We go through the plan with you, change by change, so you can question the ranking before any work starts.
What it costs and who it suits
The audit is a fixed price of £1,950 for the 3 days above. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added.
It suits contractors, infrastructure suppliers and specialist subcontractors with 10 to 50 staff, typically on contracts under £5 million.
What the free 30-minute call covers
Before you book, we have a free 30-minute call to check the audit fits. You tell us what is getting in the way and which teams and systems it involves, and we ask who we would need to interview.
If an audit is the right first step, we agree when to hold the interviews. If it is not, we say so.
